Design.

Man & Mountain. A relationship of enduring tension.

The eternal mountain and the finite stone, their contrast is clearly presenting all our designs freeing them from any passing trend.

Marble is unpredictable, it is messy and comes in many shapes and sizes. No two pieces are identical. For most customers the largest blocks are the most sought after. Smaller pieces are usually broken down into low value products that don’t reflect the natural beauty that has taken millions of years to form.

We work with quarries around the world, giving smaller off-cuts a new purpose. Formar’s process does not require any further excavation. Working towards a heathy environment of sustainable consumption. Our products preserve the value of nature.

Daniel Fintzi.

“I look at my approach as minimal, not as a visual language but as a way to dissect a project, trying to extract only one or at most two main elements from a brief and make them shine.”

At the age of 20 after taking a Philosophy course at Tel Aviv University, Daniel moved to Milan pursuing his passion for design to attend the Istituto Europeo di Design and receive a diploma in Industrial Design.

After completing his studies in Milan, he traveled to Paris and London for work experience. Upon returning to Milan Daniel began working as a freelance designer where he took part in various product and interior design projects. In 2006 Daniel went to China initially to complete a brief project and eventually in 2008 set his Design Intervention studio in Shanghai, working with a small team on a variety of projects in China and in Europe.

More recently the Studio has expanded to Hong Kong from which it is able to service better a growing demand across the region. This variety of experiences has led Daniel to develop an uncommon sense as guiding line throughout all projects, bringing new perspective and unique solutions to each new venture.

Adolfo Abejón.

“I usually combine art and design to offer an experience that’s more elevated and conceptual. I go for quality and honesty, necessary features for a design to last in time."

Adolfo designs and releases his furniture collections from Barcelona. His studio also offers industrial design consultancy and creative direction services. Adolfo creates his contemporary furniture pieces since 2012, when he presented his first works as an independent designer at the Milan Design Week. Since then, he’s always been in search of new languages for contemporary furniture. His designs are functional, conceptual and aesthetic, made in short and limited series; furniture pieces and objects with a nearly sculptural presence.

In 2014 Adolfo won the Critics Choice Award of the Association of Spanish Design Companies(Red AEDE), with the table lampSlim Brass. At his studio, they work on industrial design, artistic direction and creative direction projects for brands. The studio focuses on understanding the past and the present of its clients in order to offer tailor-made products, designs and solutions for them. Among others, Adolfo’s studio has worked with PUIG, Etnia Barcelona, ELISAVA School of Design and ISVI Design.
